Behaviour Outreach Officer
£15 Per Hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Behaviour Outreach Officer to work in Havering within the Education Sector. You will provide direct support to young people in Primary and Secondary classrooms in Havering schools in order to promote inclusion, improve their behaviour and attainment especially pupils who are making transitions into a new school.
Roles and Responsbilites:
To contribute to the development of attendance and behaviour support plans for pupils who have experienced exclusion from school or are at risk of exclusion
To implement agreed attendance and behaviour plans and Educational Psychologist recommendations (where appropriate) for pupils, under the direction/supervision of the relevant Attendance and Behaviour Support Team lead
To provide direct interim support to children in classrooms or alternative education settings in order to promote their inclusion and improve their behaviour and attainment
To provide advice and support to school staff about the implementation of planned strategies that will support young people's behaviour and learning.
To provide advice and support towards the support of pupils with SEN, including those with an Education, Heath and Care Plan where appropriate, under the direction/supervision of the relevant Attendance and Behaviour Support Team lead.
Experience and Qualifications
Level 2 Maths and English
1 years' experience of working in an educational environment.
