Virginia Green offers competitive pay and benefits as well as opportunity for growth.Position SummaryThe Corporate Training Manager is responsible for implementing the day to day training and engagement activities of the company. Assists with development of creative, high quality initiatives that model our core values, develop, retain, and engage our associates so they can produce the best possible business results. Assists with development and delivery of multi-disciplinary training and engagement programs. This position reports to the HR Director and manages members of training team.Primary ResponsibilitiesReviews existing training programs, suggests enhancements, and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.Prepares and implements training budget.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications / AttributesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong graphic design ability.Thorough understanding of training processes.Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skillsProven collaboration and teamwork skills.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration, human resources with a concentration in organizational development or training and development.At least 3-5 years of experience in training with management experience required.Virginia Green is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
