Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)
£10.65 per hour
Vision for Education is looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school in Durham. This is a supply TA role, which will commence after May half term until July. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 2 Support Teaching and Learning / Childcare qualification.
Working as part of a dynamic and creative team in a primary school you will be providing support with phonics, maths and other subjects alongside performing 1:1 support when needed. Previous experience supporting SEND children is ideal. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm.
You will be joining a strong small team in the Nursery. The school provides good education to children in Durham. It is a one form entry school who teach Nursery to Year 6 where a small percentage of children have SEND.
To be considered for the Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) position, you will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning or Childcare.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
Possess experience working with SEND children on a 1:1 basis.
