Are you ready for your next step in your career in Early Years providing a high level of care and education for children and their families?We are looking for teaching assistants who are looking to work in a mainstream primary school setting supporting SEND children and assist in their learning and development.
You will have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and experience of working with children with differing learning abilities and SEND.
You will be responsible for:
Communicating with a wide range of people individually, in groups and at all appropriate levels
Motivating children and sustain their interest in play activities
Supporting children with SEND on a one to one basis throughout the day
Contributing to and able to work as part of the team
Contributing to the preparation of written reports which support children s development and well being
Support children through positive role modelling and be able to support children and families in a culturally sensitive, positive and non-judgemental way
Able to work in a responsive and positive partnership with parents and carers
Able to develop children with special educational needs in an inclusive setting
