Early Years Teaching Assistant, Gateshead:

Schools Mutual Services are seeking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant for one of our partner schools based in Houghton Le Spring This will be starting from October 2021 and the contract type will depend on the candidates selected.

The Role:

Successful applicants will be working with a friendly team within Early Years and Key Stage 1 providing small group and 1:1 intervention support work.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Early Years Teaching Assistant you will need: a recognised UK Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification or equivalent; ability to deliver engaging small group and 1:1 support where necessary, and experience working with children of different abilities. Experience working within a Nursery or Primary environment is also essential as well as experience working with with children with SEN as well as having the ability to provide references for previous education experience. You must have a right to work within the UK and be able to commute to the school within Newcastle Upon Tyne. As an Early Year Teaching Assistant you must also hold a current update registered DBS (or be willing to undertake a DBS application)
