We are looking for fantastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join the team at our lovely partnering Special School in Leatherhead, Surrey.
You do not need to be qualified, but will need to have enthusiasm to learn and grow within the role. You must have a willingness to develop your skills and be dedicated to supporting pupils with special educational needs. This is a really fantastic chance for young motivated people to begin a career.
The SEN School in Leatherhead caters for primary pupils with autism, complex needs & communication needs.
You must be friendly and engaging to bring out the best in every young learner. This is a very rewarding role where you will be making a difference everyday. If you have experience in a nursery/primary setting, this may be a great opportunity for you.
Early Years Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Support learners with special educational needs both academically and emotionally.
Be open to learning new skills everyday.
Establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the school.
Encourage independence and personal development in pupils and maintain high expectations of behaviour at all times.
Contribute to providing high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and experiences through supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aiming at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learning.
To promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Must be enthusiastic to learn and develop your skills
Be commutable to Leatherhead, Surrey.
Someone with a bubbly and happy personality.
Able to engage with others well using fantastic communication skills.
