The Supply Register are currently working with fantastic primary school (Star Academy) part of Academy Transformation Trust based in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking Early Years Teaching Assistant to join them after Easter until the end of July. The position will be to work across both Nursery and Reception.
The ideal candidate will:
Be hold a relevant qualification (LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED minimum required)
Have an exemplary attendance record
Full of energy and patience
Excellent ability to build lasting relationships with students in order to progress there learning
Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
Friendly and approachable personality, working well with others and independently.

The Role
To support the Early Years class teacher across all areas or learning and development
To complement, appreciate and support the role of teachers and other professionals by undertaking work/care programmes which enables access to learning in the community as part of a teacher planned approach
Ability to deliver adult led activities.
Strong understanding of Phonics
Contribute to constructive team-building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors
Requirements
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
