Key stage two Primary Teacher with SEMH experience required

I am currently recruiting for a qualified KS2 primary teacher with experience teaching pupils who have differentiated behavioural needs. The Key stage 2 Primary teacher position is a temporary maternity cover to start in January 2022. As a qualified key stage two Primary Teacher it would beneficial to hold knowledge and experience of teaching pupils that have social, emotional needs, complex needs, attachment disorder, global developmental delay, fetal alcohol syndrome and challenging behaviour. Job spec & description:

Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.

Degree in Primary education or equivalent.

Demonstrate knowledge of teaching a wide range of KS2 students with special educational needs and behaviour difficulties.

Flexibility and resilience to be able to manage a demanding and challenging environment.

Teaching clearly structured lessons or sequences of lessons, which engage and motivate KS2 students using a variety of strategies appropriate to the full range of preferred learning styles.

Plan teaching to build on learner's capabilities and prior knowledge, ensuring they are well prepared for all forms of assessments.

Have a clear understanding of how a range of factors can inhibit a learner's ability to learn, and how best to overcome these.

Team-teach trained is an advantage, but not essential.
