Salary - £5125.87 - £7358.48 per Annum (Pro Rata of £23,579 -£33,849)

Job Description

City College Plymouth are looking for a highly skilled lighting specialist to join our outstanding Live Events team. We run courses from level 3 to 6 and you'd be working with all these talented students. The successful applicant would be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for sharing the knowledge they have built up over some years in industry. You'll have particular knowledge of:

Industry standard lighting fixtures

Emerging technologies

Lighting design practices in differing contexts, eg, theatre, corporate, live music

Programming lighting consoles

Design software, eg, WYSIWYG and Vectorworks

We facilitate shows for our drama, dance and music students throughout the year and you'd be required to work on these shows, making sure that the technicals are professional. Hours will be flexible so this might well suit a current working professional.
