We are looking for qualified and experienced Nursery Third In Charge - Early Year Practitioner- Montessori Educator to head up our teams and deliver inspirational care and education for the children within our new Nursery due to open in Summer 2022.

Key Responsibilities

Nursery Third In Charge Leader- Early Year Practitioner- Montessori Educator as part of a defined team are responsible for a cohort of children within Kensal House Nursery.

Support the mission and objectives of Kensal House Nursery by your contribution to a high-quality and effective team within the setting.

To take day-to-day responsibility for children & staff.

To ensure high standards of care at the nursery.

Ensure Key-worker System is in place and records are kept accordingly.

Ensure records of children are up to date.

To be a key person to a group of children, maintaining children s records on their achievement, assessment and ensure that children of the group are making good progress that their needs are met.

To be an effective and supportive team member and provide effective communication with other members and report timely to manager of any issues/progresses/important updates.

To contribute to termly and monthly plan with the team and produce teaching plans for own key children.

To commit to keep children safe as well as being a good role model to children.

As part of an Early Years team, provide a positive, constructive and creative environment for under 5 s and to further the seven areas of learning as specified in EYFS and Curriculum Plans.

Maintain all records as required by Regulatory bodies.

Participate and deliver activities within the team and nursery room effectively and maintain Kensal House Nursery high standards in relation to all children and families

Maintain ongoing observation of all children in relation to safeguarding with full understanding or policy and procedures to act and respond when necessary.

Booking - attending Parents Review meetings of your Key Children

Supporting your team in keeping up to date with Recording observations/ assessments/ reports, parents meetings of Children within your team

Keeping up to date with statutory requirements and needs within your classroom

Leading Classroom Planning meeting

Delivering and implementing a creative and meaningful planning according to children s need, interests and next steps
