Perfect Links are happy to be working with a client who has new purpose-built nursery setting based in Stanmore who provide care to children aged 2 to 5. They use a Forest School approach, so this position will be suitable for a Nursery Manager who doesn t mind getting their hands dirty!
Your role will involve:
To oversee the day-to-day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the nursery.
This includes good long/medium/weekly plans for each age group and effective organisation during the day with clear roles and responsibilities.
Leading the staff team to deliver high-quality practice within the nursery. This includes effective supervision, providing day to day guidance, training, and support to all staff.
To ensure that all staff comply with all nursery policies, procedures, government legislation (EYFS) and that records are kept up to date.
Oversee and ensure that all staff in the nursery are working in accordance with safeguarding legislation and that staff always remain vigilant.
You will need:
At least a Level 3 Childcare qualification
3+ years within Nursery Management
Proven track record of involvement in supporting OFSTED inspections
Passion for childcare
Experience of budget management and developing marketing skills to build up occupancy
