Salary: £23,522.76 - £24,230.04 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description

Henry Fawcett Nursery is located near to Oval Tube Station in Kennington. They are a 47 place nursery which is made up of separate learning spaces for different age groups and they also have a great outdoor space where the children love to explore and get their hands dirty. The nursery caters for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old.

We are now recruiting a new Room Leader who will manage the goings on in the room and supervise a team of Early Years professionals to deliver the EYFS.

As a LEYF Room Leader we will expect you to create and plan the daily and weekly routines and encourage the team to create activities that stimulate and encourage children's curiosity and their development. You will have your own key children and work closely with the management team to ensure that best practice is maintained and delivered throughout the nursery to ensure we provide the best experience for our children and their families.

Job Requirements:

Leadership and team management skills
Level 3 or above in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children's needs to be met.
To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care
Knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, safeguarding
Ability, flexibility and willingness to take on other responsibilities or duties as deemed necessary
To build strong, supportive and professional relationships with the team
