Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for a number of posts within an SEN school in the Lancashire area, on the outskirts of Lancaster (LA5). The school caters for pupils 2 to 19 years with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), some with associated complex needs, ASD (Autism) and challenging behaviours. They are a specialist day school which also offers optional residential provision.
To be successful, you will ideally have significant experience of supporting individuals who have a learning disability, Autism, physical disability and / or complex health needs. Within these roles, the responsibilities and hours may vary. Within school, staff ensure that the curriculum is skilfully differentiated to meet the unique and individual needs of each learner. During the after school sessions, the school encourage pupils taking part in a variety of different activities including Sensory Stories, Team Games, Art and DT etc.
Residential Support Workers
Hours: 7.00am-9.00am / 3.15pm-9.15pm
You will support pupils, whether it be on a small group and/or 1:1 basis ensuring high levels of care at all times. You will need to be confident that you have the strength of character and ability to cope with the challenges this work brings and have personal resilience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
