Job Description

Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave starting in January. This role will be part-time, and you will be working on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The role:
The desired Year 1 Teacher will be working in a Year 1 class of 28 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in Key Stage 1.

This is a smaller than average village school based near Rotherham which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. The desired Year 1 Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The school is rated good by Ofsted and has been described by Teachers previously placed there as a great school to work at with well behaved children

Requirements:
To be considered for the position of Year 1 Teacher, you will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 1 level.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
