Role: School Site Manager
Location: Haringey, North London
Salary: £140 to £160 day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until February 2022

GSL Education is currently seeking an experienced Site manager to undertake a position at one of our secondary schools in Haringey. This is a varied role that will lead the site teams within the designated schools and provide advice on estate and facilities management, planning and compliance. This will include responsibility for the planning of refurbishments, improvements and general maintenance schedules throughout the schools in accordance with legislative regulations.

About the Site Manager role:

Responsibility for ensuring Health & Safety and compliance checks and procedures are carried out to maintain a safe working and learning environment in accordance with relevant legislation.
Ensuring that the servicing of equipment such as heating, lighting, air-conditioning and alarm systems is carried-out on a regular basis.#
Overseeing new building and refurbishment programmes and acting as a point of liaison between contractors and the school.
Keeping appropriate records, ensuring that they are available for inspection and provide statistical and other returns, as required
Carrying out any other duties which may reasonably be required by the School Business Leader or Headteacher.
The successful Candidate must:

Have preivous expereince working as a Site Manager in school.
Be physically capable to lift, carry and move various items including deliveries
Have a good understanding and be able to apply regulations such as Health and Safety, legionella, asbestos awareness, working at heights, COSHE, etc
Being able to problem solve and show initiative.
Have the ability to manage own time effectively and demonstrate initiative including establishing priorities
Be able to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and most importantly the equal opportunities policy, child protection policy and all health & safety related policies.
