Academics are working with a number of St Helens based Primary Schools, who are looking for small group and 1:1 support in both Early Years and Key Stage 1, for children with with Special Education needs.
You will need previous experience of working with children with SEN, and will also require previous experience of working in an Early Years or Key Stage 1 setting.
A Level 3 TA qualification would be ideal (Level 2 is also acceptable), or an Early Years qualification. It would also be useful if you have 'Team Teach', but this is not essential.
Ideally our SEN Teaching Assistant will have experience with any (or all) of the following:
EBD and challenging behaviour,
Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, global delay)
