I'm currently working with a School in East London that support students with Social Emotional Mental Health issues. The School supports and young people who have a history of trauma, display low self-esteem and low confidence.
The students in the school struggle with expressing their emotions and feelings and this is displayed with a range of challenging behaviours, such as Lashing out, verbal abuse and physical abuse.
To support the students effectively we are seeking candidates who are Consistent, resilient, firm, polite and gentle. Experience supporting challenging behaviour and trauma is highly desired and experience with confrontation and de-escalation techniques are also desired too.
If you have no experience in education but have worked within a youth/sports club environment where you are faced with the challenges of motivating this could be a great opportunity for you to continue to make a positive difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
