Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: a level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs and disabilities, some experience working with children who have special needs - SEMH would be an advantage.
These positions are open to individuals who have experience supporting people with special needs or leearning difficulties, and to those who have limited experience but a passion to learn more within this field. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 15:30. Term time only.
I am working with a special school in Bath, with a primary and secondary school, that are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2022. The school caters for children with SEMH (social and emotional mental health). Previous experience within autism or SEMH are strongly desired.
To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Be able to provide two professional references
Have some experience supporting children with special needs
Hold an enhanced child/child and adult barred list DBS on the update service, or be willing to process a new application
