Location: Sheffield (S8)
Pay Scale: 95 - 115 per day
Contract: Long-term to Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm

The school provides specialist support for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and pupils who may present with challenging behaviours. About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
• Fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment for children with Autism
• Supporting students with social skills development, emotional regulation, and independence
• Assisting with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials

About You:

• Experience working in an SEN setting with children with Autism is highly desirable
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with complex needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for making a positive impact on children's lives
• A relevant qualification in education or SEN is advantageous but not essential
