Milk Education are seeking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work with a mainstream primary school within Rotherham. This role is available on a 1to1 basis or general classroom SEND Teaching Assistant basis.

The role is on a full time basis and will be ideally starting from September 2022 running on a long term contract with the view to develop into a permanent contract.

Required Skills

  • Ideally have a Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Must Have SEND experiences and Knowledge
  • Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration and self-esteem of pupils
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be an inspirational member of the support team, who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and keeps children at the heart of learning.
