Senior Nursery Practitioner

The Role

• Ensure the room provides the best possible care and education experience for children.
• Supervise the team enabling them to learn, grow and feel supported to work as a team and develop their practice.
• Pro-actively plan and evaluate activities with colleagues.
• Ensure all administration relating to children is up to date.
• Drive your own self development and continuous improvement.
• Lead, inspire and motivate the team.

About you

You will be a positive role model, enthusiastic with a real passion for inspiring high-quality childcare and education. A great communicator, you will have a desire to excel and grow within your career.

Working as part of a passionate, forward-thinking and creative team, you will provide ideas and an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. You'll be able to build and maintain strong relationships with your team and parents to enable individual children's needs to be met.

We would expect you to be adaptable to change, a creative thinker with a strengths-based approach to problem solving and communication.

You must be SVQ 3, HNC or equivalent in Early Years Education and Care and at least 1 years' experience with children aged 0-5. Ideally you will have experience of leading a team, although this is not essential.
