Some of the responsibilities of a day to day supply teacher are:

* Being ready to work at short notice

* Following school's policies and procedures

* Managing classroom behaviour

* Ensuring that work gets completed in the teacher's absence (possibly following a hand over)

* Leaving a hand over for the teacher/next member of staff if necessary

Day to day supply teaching gives you the opportunity to build excellent classroom experience and also provides great professional development. In order to be successful, you need to have a strong passion for the education and development of younger generations.

About the Job:

Upon registration with Corus Consultancy, you will be working in various primary and secondary schools on a Day-to-Day assignment, making teaching a flexible supply opportunity for those with other commitments. When on the job, you will be required to deliver lesson plans to an entire class left by the resident teacher. This will include communicating with students on a group or an individual capacity, keeping track of students progress, Manage and enforce classroom rules to maintain a safe and productive work environment and working with school administrators to ensure students are ready for standardised tests.

Temporary / part time
£105 - £160 per day
Minimum 8 hours.Minimum Requirements:

QTS or any educational certificates such as a diploma or Bachelors degree.
At least 1 years teaching experience in a primary or secondary school.
