Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teaching Assistant (TA)
£9.99 - £11.54 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is to have, or working towards, a Level 2 in Support Teaching and Learning.

A Primary school in Wythenshawe is looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 1 class supporting the teacher deliver fun and engaging lessons and assist in the general management of the classroom.
The successful candidate will be required to support children both inside, and outside, of the classroom. Other roles will include assisting the teacher with the general management of the classroom and helping to ensure provisions are ready for lessons.
The school is a single-form entry Primary school that plays a vital role in a diverse community. Led by a forward-thinking senior leadership team the school is always looking for new ways to provide children with cross-curricular learning opportunities.
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have a solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be able to demonstrate excellent phonics knowledge.
Be pro-active and confident working in a classroom setting and outside of it.
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
