Year 5 Teaching Assistant
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to have a Level 2 in Support Teaching and learning or other relevant qualification.

A Primary school in Wythenshawe is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide support to a Year 5 class on a full-time basis beginning at the May half term break.
The role includes providing educational, emotional and social support to a year 5 class. The successful candidate will be willing to ensure provisions are in place prior to lessons, carry out additional school roles e.g. breaktime duty and support children in their learning during lessons and on a 1:1/small group basis outside of the classroom.

To be considered for the Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have experience providing educational support to a Key Stage 2 class and be able to demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge.
Be patient, pro-active and hardworking
Want to contribute positively to the whole wider school ethos
Ensure everything is in place to provide children with the best possible learning opportunities and support them with their journey
