Year 5 Teacher
I am currently working with a friendly 1 form entry primary school based in Colchester with an extremely strong senior leadership team, who are looking for a committed and dedicated Year 5 teacher. This school gained a 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted. The current SLT has been in place for a number of years and have an extremely low turnover in staff. You will be confident in teaching a class of 31 Year 5 children, be able to devise schemes of work and differentiate for varying levels within the class, including gifted and talented children. You will be required to work standard school hours including any parents evenings/ after school meetings. This Year 5 teacher position is on a full time basis starting in January 2022 for 2 terms with the potential of being extended/ going permanent in September 2021.

The successful applicant is expected to have;
Qualifications - specify e.g. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Effectively teach Key Stage 2 curriculum to the highest standards.
Assess and mark pupils work, monitoring progression levels.
Deliver fun and engaging lessons that also challenge and develop learning.
Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff members.
Be committed to the schools objectives and teach in line with their ethos.
